You need: 12 slices of cinnamon raisin bread, 4 eggs, 3 tablespoons of milk, butter or cooking oil
To make: Beat the milk and eggs together in a bowl until completely mixed. Heat butter or oil in a griddle or pan. Soak each slice of cinnamon raisin bread in the egg mixture. Fry the bread on each side until it is golden brown. Tastes great by itself and served with canned fruit, butter, powdered sugar or maple syrup over the top.
Vienna In The Morning
In minutes, you can have a gourmet breakfast featuring eggs, potatoes and sausage with a flavorful Vienna flair.
You need: Large can of Vienna sausages, 7 eggs or their equivalent in egg substitute, butter or cooking oil, large can of sliced potatoes, 4 tablespoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese.
To make: Slice the Vienna sausages in half. Brown the sausages and can of potato slices in butter or cooking oil. Beat the eggs and milk together. Pour the mixture into the browning sausage and potatoes. Fry for two minutes, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and serve.

This grilled sandwich with fish and cheese will make your mouth water.
You need: 1 small can of tuna, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise or spread, butter or cooking oil, dried onions, 8 slices of processed American cheese (does not require refrigeration), 8 slices of whole wheat bread.
To make: Mix tuna, mayonnaise or spread and a dash of dried onions in a bowl. Heat butter or cooking oil in a pan or griddle. Put a slice of American cheese food on 4 slices of bread. Scoop small amounts of tuna in the center of these 4 slices of bread with cheese. Put another slice of American cheese on each of the 4 remaining slices of bread. Put the sandwiches together and fry on each side until golden brown. Eat the extra tuna by itself or fry up more sandwiches if you’re still hungry. Those counting calories can omit mayonnaise or spread, or use light mayo.

You need: 1 can or jar of tomato sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, butter or cooking oil, garlic, small can of mushrooms.
To make: Spread a tablespoon of sauce on a slice of bread. Generously cover with grated Parmesan. Melt butter or cooking oil in a pan and add a dash of garlic when melted. Place a mushrooms over the Parmesan to taste and top off with another slice of bread. Fry on both sides until golden brown and serve.

Quick version of traditional rice and beans that includes chicken.
You need: 1 jar of picante sauce, 1 can of red beans, four servings of instant rice, small can of chunk chicken, pepper and salt.
To make: Boil water in the Dutch oven to cook the instant rice according to the directions shown on the package. Drain the rice and return it to the Dutch oven. Add the picante sauce, beans, chicken and a dash of salt and pepper. Simmer for ten minutes and serve with corn bread, wheat bread or tortilla chips.

You need: 1 pound of medium pasta shells, can of small shrimp for salads, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, ½ teaspoon of garlic, ¼ tablespoon of oregano, 1 small can of French style green beans, 3 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
To make: Boil water, add a dash of oil and cook the pasta for 14 minutes. Drain the shrimp. Drain the pasta and toss with olive oil, garlic, oregano, drained shrimp, green beans and Parmesan cheese. Mix over heat source for three minutes and serve with buttered dinner rolls.
